"Welcome to Southern Cross’ Brand-New Website"

If you are reading this, chances are you have hit our new and refreshed website. We have been working on this new look and feel for the past three months. Our goal was simple – to make your visit to our website merely enjoyable. We hope that you enjoy your visit to this easy to navigate, uncluttered, and user-friendly site. In October of this year, we launched our new hiring website, making it easier for those who want to join our team and become part of a successful crew who simply “awe” our customers. If you haven’t seen it I would strongly recommend you pay a visit to www.southerncrosshire.com

We are making it easier for our customers and partners to do business with us – we now have e-commerce and can sell you the equipment and other accessories and spare parts that you need. The updated site includes simplified navigation, with dropdown menus for both mobile and desktop versions. We have added new content and videos and improved the structure and flow of our content, so you can do a quick read. There is a lot of other small but very convenient features to make you experience much better. Please do let us know what you think.

Our current and prospective clients will find useful information about our products and services. We have technical brochures and user manuals including product videos. We will regularly feature promotional items on products and repair services. So, visit us more often or simply subscribe to our mailing list and send in your request. Our site also contains social media buttons for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram to foster better communications with our customers and partners and to keep you informed of what is going on within Southern Cross. We will be updating the content with industry-specific information that will be useful to you.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to talk a little bit about Southern Cross and how we are changing the paradigm with our culture of constant innovation and integrating new technologies in our workflow and processes. In June of 2018, we launched a partnership with Picarro to use their advanced gas leak detection technology in our daily work. This has a major implication on how we conduct leak surveys. The power of an advanced leak detection technology that is 1000x more sensitive than traditional methods combined with “big data “analytics allows Southern Cross to make better decisions and is an incredible tool to have as part of our outsourcing solution. Under the right conditions, the innovative and advanced technology will help Southern Cross improve the value it can deliver to its customers in traditional leak surveys, expand into supporting DIMP modeling, and even support our customers in making better decisions around which pipes should be targeted for replacement.

We have other partnership agreements in the works and will be making some announcements in 2019. We want to take and integrate the best of technologies that are available out there and make it easier for our customers to access them and take advantage of these advanced technologies.

So, what do we see in the crystal ball for 2019? ……………. Southern Cross continues to be more proactive and nimble as a company than it ever been before. It is a company where innovation never ceases, not even for a moment. We are adopting new technologies internally to operate more efficiently. We are introducing new and relevant training programs for all our employees, providing opportunities for cross-training and career development. Our goal is to simply” awe” our customers and to make them and their projects wildly successful. Safety, integrity, partnership, quality, unceasing innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement – these are our DNA traits.
